Shengli Power’s Coal Transmission System Achieves First Heavy-Haul Integrated Operation

The coal transmission system of Shengli Power Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Energy, successfully completed the first heavy-haul integrated operation to transport 6,412 tons of coal from the opencast coal mine crushing station to Shengli Power Plant via M701 and M706 relay stations on July 11, with the maximal coal transmission amount reaching 3,104 tons per hour. During the period, the entire system operated smoothly, and the protecting devices were proven safe and effective, achieving remarkable performance in all indexes. This marked the system successfully completed its first heavy-haul integrated operation.

This is the world’s first long-distance, dual-way belt transmission system featuring horizontal turning, multi-spot driving and in-between unloading designed for high-altitude frigid areas. When constructing and debugging the system, the company strengthened source management and process control, and succeeded in the first operation in terms of non-load integrated debugging, heavy-haul trial operation to transport coal to North Power Plant, and heavy-haul trial operation of the entire system, creating a new debugging record compared to its peers in the industry. The completion of the system is crucial to fostering a new development pattern, achieving coal-electricity coordinated development, and optimizing the coal sales layout.
