China Energy Seeks Intelligent Digital Transformation

The 4th Digital China Summit was held in Fuzhou, capital of southeast China’s Fujian Province, from April 25 to 26, under the theme “New Potential for Data and New Journey of Digital China.” Many innovations in the digital technology were unveiled at the event.

Upholding the concept of “seeking digital-driven transformation and intelligent development of China’s power industry,” China Energy is striving to embark on a road integrating the digital economy and the energy economy.

Intelligent manufacturing: China Energy takes active actions to promote in-depth integration between power production and advanced information technology, carry forward all-round construction of intelligent mines, power stations, transportation and chemicals, and endeavor to scale the heights in intelligence-driven power development.

Intelligent management: China Energy continues deepening the combination of its management mechanism and information technology, and has built unified systems to facilitate the management of human resources, financial affairs, material resources, equipment, e-commerce, sales and suppliers.

Intelligent operation: China Energy strives to build a coordinated scheduling and intelligent commanding platform that features “integrated and unified control, intelligent and efficient coordination, and high-degree visualized integration” and an industrial internet platform that features “whole-process coordination, full-industrial-chain connection, and all-scenario monitoring.”

Application of big data: China Energy uses digital technologies such as cloud computing, big data, the Internet of Things, mobile internet, and artificial intelligence to connect such key platforms as the production, transport, and marketing operation platform, the human, financial and material resources management platform, and the cloud data center, and remove information barriers and information isolated islands. It has also built a data resource pool to deepen big data intelligent analysis and achieve connectivity of multiple business data, effectively enhancing its digitalized strategic decision-making capacity.
