China Association of Construction Enterprise Management (CACEM) recently released the first list of winners of the National Quality Engineering Award (2018-2019). Dagangshan Hydropower Station operated by the Dadu River Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. under China Energy Investment Corporation won a National Quality Engineering Award (Gold), rated as a “high-quality outstanding project,” the highest national honor in engineering construction. This is also the first hydropower project of China Energy, as well as Sichuan Province, to receive this award.
Upholding modern development concepts and attaching great importance to the application of new technologies, new materials and new techniques, the hydropower station has so far won 112 national and provincial awards including second prizes of 2018 National Science and Technology Progress Award, National State Invention Patent, CACEM Special Award for Technological Innovation and first prizes of Science and Technology Award of China Society for Hydropower Engineering.
