China Energy Cares Employees in Western Regions

From April 22 to 28, China Energy organized a recuperation and recreation activity for its employees who have long worked in China’s western regions. The first group of 100 employees from its 16 subsidiaries, together with their families, already arrived in Sanya, a coastal city in Hainan Province, for a one-week recuperation.

In the process of China Energy’s production, reform and development, a number of employees have long worked in remote areas in western China despite local harsh conditions. They spent the best time of their lives working for the company and have made remarkable contributions to its development. The group’s leadership has always cared those employees.

Zheng Yanli, a female air compressor operator at the Gongwusu Coal-washing Plant of Wuhai Energy, said that she would retire two years later and this was the first time that she and her son took a plane and traveled in Hainan. She was grateful to China Energy for offering this precious opportunity.

Wang Yunhai from the Mayitasi Wind Power Plant of GD Power Development Co., Ltd. was excited upon hearing that he could enjoy a vacation with his family in Hainan this time. He said that such an arrangement is very people-oriented. Too busy in work, he gets few chances to reunite with his wife, Xiao Yan. “This activity offers us an opportunity to reunite longer than any time in the past decade,” Xiao smiled. “It enables me to feel that China Energy’s reform and development has benefited its employees. After returning to Xinjiang, I will better support my husband in work.”

This activity also included a lecture titled “China and the World Share the Future in the New Era,” panel discussions, health seminars, cultural and sport events and parties, enabling employees to relax and regain energy for future work.
