Shuozhou-Huanghua Railway’s Independently Developed Information System Helps Targeted Epidemic Control

An anti-epidemic information system independently developed by the Shuozhou-Huanghua Railway Co., Ltd. under China Energy officially began operation on January 26, which can provide precise data support for achieving targeted epidemic prevention and control.

Considering the new requirements and changes of the epidemic situation in China, the company mobilized its key technicians to form a research team to develop an anti-epidemic information management system based on big data and information platforms. The research team made breakthroughs in the development of key technologies such as big data intelligent indexing and anti-epidemic information database intelligent management, and developed an anti-epidemic information database and an intelligent anti-epidemic management platform. They completed the research project within 11 days, which usually takes at least 60 days.

They system can automatically screen those who ever visited key COVID-19 affected areas, gather information of returned employees, report health monitoring information on a daily basis, conduct epidemic situation analysis and precaution, and achieve the gathering and reporting of 23 items of basic data, including employees’ information and travel history, isolation and medical observation, nucleic acid tests, vaccination, and daily body temperature. It can generate visible statistical statements and conduct statistics and classification of users’ data. After the system is put into operation, it will need only two persons to spend 30 minutes completing daily anti-epidemic information gathering and reporting, and the work previously took more than 60 persons to spend 13 hours. The system significantly enhances the efficiency of anti-epidemic data reporting and management.
