Daduhe Company’s First PV Project Connected to the Grid ahead of Schedule

On November 19, the distributed rooftop photovoltaic project at Jinchuan hydroelectric camp of Daduhe Company under China Energy was officially connected to the grid and put into operation, 11 days ahead of schedule.

With an installed capacity of 103 KW, the PV project is Daduhe Company’s first new energy project. It features solar panels installed on rooftops of the office building, staff canteen, dormitory building and other buildings at the company’s Jinchuan hydroelectric camp, totaling 691 square meters. When put into operation, it is expected to provide green electricity of about 146,800 kWh per year.

Construction of the project began on October 27, 2021, and system commissioning was completed on November 18. The next day, the project passed the acceptance test and was successfully connected to the grid and put into operation.

Concepts of low-carbon clean energy, resource conservation, safety and reliability were implemented throughout the construction of the Jinchuan PV project, as the company made continuous efforts to follow the trend of green new energy development, improve the project elements and construction conditions, guarantee market access to the grid, strengthen supervision of infrastructure construction of the project, and ensure that the clean energy power generation project is put into operation as soon as possible, with an aim to contribute to achieving the “carbon peak and carbon neutrality” goal with practical action.
