China Energy Holds Video Conference on Safe Production

On April 23, China Energy Investment Corporation held a video conference on safe production to make arrangements for ensuring production safety. Chairman Wang Xiangxi attended the meeting and made remarks. Wang requested the company to play the exemplary role as a central State-owned enterprise, properly handle the relationship between safety and development, reform, benefits and stability, promote the modernization of the system and capacity of safety production governance and minimize the impact of adverse factors, so as to achieve the company’s yearly production targets. As epidemic prevention and control becomes normalized, efforts should be continued to prevent and resolve major security risks to make sure no security risks will occur, noted Wang, stressing that epidemic prevention and control remains a major task at this moment when coronavirus is still spreading in foreign countries, so as to consolidate the achievement of “zero infection” among its overseas employees.
