Xinshuo Railway Achieves Breakthroughs in Intelligent Locomotive Fault Diagnosis Technology Research

The “intelligent fault diagnosis device for railway artery heavy-haul freight locomotive and supporting software,” a key technological research project of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in 2019 undertaken by Xinshuo Railway Co., Ltd. under China Energy, recently accomplished trial operations, marking the research project has been completed and achieved key breakthroughs.

The key breakthroughs are phased achievements made by Xinshuo Railway through actively participating in technological research projects launched by local governments by means of a cooperation model that integrates “production, education, research and utilization,” introducing external funds to promote technological research, and collaborating with research institutes and universities to establish a research professional training alliance. The project is a good example for cooperation between enterprises and local governments and provides a new model for the company to broaden vision and explore new ways for technological innovation and jointly apply for provincial and ministerial-level technological innovation awards. Moreover, it laid a solid foundation for cultivating high-caliber modern management professionals familiar with advanced heavy-haul railway transport system, data analysis and simulation technology as well as building a high-standard national technological innovation team.
