Longyuan Power’s First Decentralized Power Generation Project Achieves Inverse Feeding

The Taikang decentralized power generation project of the Henan branch of Longyuan Power under China Energy achieved inverse feeding on November 21, indicating that the company’s first such project is ready for generating power and being connected to the grid.

The project, located in Changying Town, Taikang County, Zhoukou City of Henan Province, has a total installed capacity of 12MW, with four 3MW wind turbines and a 35KV prefabricated switch station.

Since the project broke ground, Longyuan Power has spared no effort to push forward its construction through careful organization, strict scheduling, rational planning while implementing strict quality standards and ensuring workplace safety. To ensure the project’s inverse feeding succeeds, the company set up a special taskforce and organized on-site safety technical meetings to clarify division of responsibilities, further smoothen operating procedures, and strictly implement relevant work plans. Moreover, it conducted electric equipment and power transmission lines, coordinated and dealt with various problems in a timely manner, and invited technical personnel from relevant construction contractors and equipment manufacturers to the site to ensure safe, high-efficiency operation of the maiden inverse feeding. Thanks to careful preparations in advance, booster station workers completed the project’s maiden inverse feeding operation according to preset procedures.
