China Energy Wins 2021 DAMA China Award for Best Practices in Data Management

The 2021 DAMA China Data Management Summit, themed “Data Governance and Digitalization,” was held in Shanghai from October 22 to 23, under the guidance of DAMA International, at which outstanding projects in the field of data management were commended. China Energy’s Data Resource Service Project was granted the 2021 DAMA China Award for Best Practices in Data Management.

Since 2019, China Energy has been committed to building a data assets management system framework and an industry-wide data standard system framework, with an aim to form a science-based “CHN-EDGF171” Data Governance System Framework. Based on this, it has gradually established its data governance platform, a supporting tool for data assets management. China Energy’s exploration and practice in data governance has enhanced its standardized and regularized data management, improved its data quality, data security capacity and data management efficiency, and boosted data sharing and application, providing impetus for unlocking the value of its data assets and accelerating the corporation’s high-quality development and digital transformation.
