Guodian Power’s Five Generation Units Hailed as National Model Generation Units with Excellent Reliability

Five coal-fired generation units of Guodian Power Co., Ltd. under China Energy were titled as National Model Generation Units with Excellent Reliability at the China Forum on Power Reliability sponsored by China Electricity Council on October 21. Of them, the No.2 generation unit of Guohua Jinjie Energy Co., Ltd. and the No.2 generation unit of Inner Mongolia Energy Co., Ltd. were cited as the “600MV model pulverized coal-fired power generation units,” the No.2 unit of Sanhe Energy Co., Ltd. cited as the “300MV model pulverized coal-fired power generation unit” and the No.1 and No.3 units of Guohua Jingran Heat and Power Co., Ltd. cited as the “150MV and above model gas-fired power generation units.”

The No.2 generation unit of Guohua Jinjie features a 600MV subcritical drum-boiler. Through promoting “refined management” of generation units, conducting in-depth equipment operating analysis, and standardizing equipment operation, the company maximally unleashes the potential of equipment and enhances the reliability of generation units.

All defects must be handled the same day when they are detected, and relevant employees shall not change shifts until defects are solved. Meanwhile, it pays close attention to the monthly defect rectification rate, and maintains a yearly defect rectification rate of 96 percent.

After integrated upgrading in terms of energy conservation and environmental protection, the No.2 generation unit of Sanhe Energy has seen significant improvement in all indexes, especially in energy saving. The company is committed to sustainable development and continues walking towards low-carbon, green and clean development. It has formed an energy efficiency supervision team to carry out reliability evaluation of main and auxiliary power generation equipment and electricity transmission and transformation facilities, ensuring its generation units lead domestic counterparts.
