China Energy Scores New Achievements in Brand Building

On May 9, the 2021 China Brand Value Evaluation Information Release and China Brand Building Summit Forum were held in Shanghai. With a brand strength of 915 points and a brand value of nearly 188.27 billion yuan, as released during the event, China Energy ranked third in the energy and chemical industry and third among the participating central enterprises on the 2021 China Brand Value Evaluation Information List, demonstrating the group company’s outstanding achievements in promoting high-quality development and building a top-class enterprise since its restructuring and merger. As the only China Energy subsidiary to be included on the list, its Materials Company ranked fifth among the participating brands with a brand strength of 676 points and a brand value of nearly 7.92 billion yuan.

On the afternoon of May 10, the 2020 Central Enterprise Brand Building Development Report, the 100 Best Practice Cases of SOE Brand Building of 2020, and the 100 Best Brand Stories were released at a sub-forum on brand building of Chinese enterprises organized under the guidance of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC). The “Refreshing the Image of Central Enterprises along the Belt and Road with a ‘Symbiosis Model’” submitted by Beijing Guodian Power under China Energy was selected as a Best Practice Case of SOE Brand Building of 2020. The “A Test of Time for Grid Parity” submitted by United Power under China Energy and the “Opening of China Energy-aided Abuzelu Primary School in Butuo County of Liangshan Prefecture” submitted by the group’s Media Center were cited among the 100 Best Brand Stories.
