Heilongjiang Company Takes Multiple Measures to Ensure Power Supply

In September, Heilongjiang Company actively practiced corporate social responsibility by focusing on coal supply, increasing power generation, improving operation and maintenance of generating units, and taking effective measures to prevent and control the epidemic while enhancing safety management. It completed 735 million kWh of power generation, up 42.91 percent year-on-year.

Planning in advance to secure supply. Heilongjiang Company focused on the supply of long-agreed coal, strengthened coordination with coal producers and relevant authorities such as railroad transportation department, guaranteed the daily shipment of long-agreed coal, and continuously improved the fulfillment rate of long-agreed coal contracts. In the first nine months of this year, 4.09 million tons of coal were delivered, 620,000 tons more than the same period of last year, which guaranteed that coal supply is stable.

Keeping close tracking to stabilize inventory. Relevant personnel of the company work on-site to track and record coal consumption and inventory on an hourly basis. A working mechanism for daily dispatch, weekly summary and monthly supervision has been established to ensure the coal inventory of each enterprise is under control. The staff also keep an eye on the accuracy of the coal stock and planned incoming coal to provide timely guidance for grassroots enterprises to solve the problems of coal procurement and obstructed transportation capacity.

Conducting careful maintenance to ensure safety. In view of the epidemic situation in Harbin, China Energy instructed its grass-roots enterprises to enhance efforts in COVID-19 prevention and control, operation and maintenance management, equipment pre-overhaul, defects elimination, coal and water supply, and emergency response, so as to ensure safe and stable operation of the units. Measures have also been taken to investigate and remove safety risks and accident hazards and strengthen maintenance of the units, so that the units can operate smoothly with zero accident.
