By September 17, the renovated computer-aided monitoring and control system of Daduhe Company, a subsidiary of China Energy, had been stably operating for a month and achieved its first goal in safe operation. It is China Energy’s first 10GW independently developed computer monitoring and control system.
With the help of the system, Daduhe Company has now achieved remote control of nine hydropower stations and nine dams along the Dadu River, with 41 generation units and a total installed capacity of nearly 11.34 GW, accounting for 27 percent of the total hydropower installed capacity in Sichuan Province. Safety is the top priority in remote control. Since the beginning of this year, the company has taken active actions to implement the strategic plans of China Energy and carried out independent renovation of its computer-aided monitoring and control system.
The renovated system adopts the latest domestically developed intelligent integrated management and control platform, and its basis software and hardware are both homemade safe operating systems, relational databases, servers, and workstations. Apart from high safety, the system also features smart applications such as intelligent precaution, equipment diagnosis, and one-key control, providing a solid foundation for realizing intelligent monitoring and control. So far, the system is operating well in all indexes.
