Longyuan Power’s Distributed Photovoltaic Operating and Monitoring System Begins Trial Operation

The distributed photovoltaic operating and monitoring system independently developed by Longyuan Power, a subsidiary of China Energy, was put into trial operation on March 16. It achieves unified monitoring and operation of distributed photovoltaic projects by eradicating bottlenecks that hinder integrated operation of such projects.

The distributed photovoltaic operating and monitoring system features a homemade all-stack base development environment that is independently designed and controllable. It adopts a five-layer structure, including the receiving layer, the data layer, the interfacing layer, the display layer and the user layer, and introduces the MQTT-based real-time data feed technology. Compared to traditional data transfer protocols, this technology achieves high real-time operation and timely, accurate data display. Considering the flexibility and dispersibility of distributed photovoltaic projects, this system enables users to conduct monitoring design and management of “virtual power stations” according to the deployment of outlets, and achieve multi-layered visualized monitoring and control to the county and even equipment levels. It can realize all-factor, whole-process operations in terms of equipment monitoring, operating analysis, and failure identification.
