Baoshen Railway Transports 70 Million Tons of Cargo So Far This Year

As of March 16, Baoshen Railway Co., Ltd. under China Energy had transported more than 70.2 million tons of cargo this year, nearly 2.24 million tons more than the preset goal, an increase of 16.5% year-on-year. Compared with the previous year, it surpassed the 70 million tons mark 14 days earlier this year.

To better balance integrated shipping plans and local coal transportation demands, Baoshen Railway pays close attention to market changes. It adjusts transport plans, optimizes service process and increases transport capacity in a timely manner according to the demands and changes of the market. It places great importance on fulfilling the daily plan of loading stations to achieve shipments as much as possible. Based on information about coal sources, it arranges freight trains and adjusts loading locations, ensuring the daily shipment plan is fully fulfilled or even over-fulfilled. The company prepares 8+C and Shen-12 locomotives as backup forces for transport demands that may rise subsequently, regularly operates C70A 10,000-ton trains and conducts feasibility research for the operation of two-way 10,000-ton trains, so as to give full use to its 10,000-ton trains. Moreover, Baoshen Railway improves its locomotive registration information system to facilitate workflow and get its personnel and workflow ready for increased transport demands. It has constantly enhanced transport efficiency, strengthened contact with the train scheduling department, and improved the railway use efficiency in stations, thus achieving high-quality and high-efficiency transportation.
