Tianjin Port Hits a Historical High with Daily Loading Amount of Nearly 200,000 Tons

Tianjin Port under China Energy achieved a daily loading amount of 194,600 tons, a new historical high, on July 3, with the loading amount per work shift reaching 99,941 tons, after it completed half of both the loading and unloading targets for the year.

Since the beginning of this year, Tianjin Port has adopted a task-oriented approach. Through collaboration of various departments, it has actively coordinating vehicle and vessel resources to ensure tasks are completed on schedule. Moreover, it creatively adopts the actual condition-based equipment repair and maintenance method to guarantee smooth operation of equipment. According to operational planning and scheduling, it coordinates organizational work to reasonably control operation rhythms, and formulates daily, weekly and monthly plans for operation. Through regularly reviewing the plans, it analyzes the gaps between actual operations and preset goals in a timely manner, and works hard to remove bottlenecks to enhance work efficiency. Taking into account the seasonal characteristics of summer, it implements a “three-level high-temperature coal precaution” mechanism to prevent “high-temperature coal” from impacting the operation rhythms and being loaded onto the vessels, paving the way for its completion of yearly tasks. In the first half of 2021, it completed unloading amounts totaling of 22,887,000 tons, 225,000 tons more than planned, a year-on-year increase of 6.9 percent.Meanwhile, it completed loading amounts totaling 23,061,000 tons, 399,000 tons more than planned, a year-on-year increase of 5.2 percent. Both hit a historical high.
