China Energy Releases Communication Interfaces and Protocols of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment in Coal Mines (Parts 1-11)

China Energy recently released corporate standards “Communication Interfaces and Protocols of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment in Coal Mines (Parts 1-11)”.

The “Communication Interfaces and Protocols of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment in Coal Mines (Parts 1-11)” standardize the general rules and extended objects for mechanical and electrical equipment as well as communication, monitoring and control devices in coal mines. Its implementation will solve the problem of inconsistent data interfaces and achieve data sharing and interconnection of comprehensive mining and low-voltage power supply equipment; solve the problem of incompatible system platforms to avoid “data barriers” and “information chimneys, so as to ensure safe operation and efficient connection between systems; and solve the problem of non-standard construction and improve rationality and accuracy of top-level design and construction regulation.

The standards, for the first time, provide a comprehensive range of communication interfaces and protocols for electromechanical mining equipment, which fills a void in the coal industry and enhances the core competitiveness of China Energy. Furthermore, meeting the urgent needs of both enterprises and the market, the standards will make intelligent construction of coal mines more standardized and procedural and provide important technical standards and support for the coal industry.
