Tianjin Port Completes the World’s First Digital Twin Intelligent Loading System

As of June 28, the world’s first vessel-bank digital twin intelligent loading system, independently developed by Tianjin Port Co., Ltd. under China Energy, had completed loading operations for three ships, with cargos totaling 172,000 tons loaded. The average draft difference between bow and stern of the vessel ranges from 35 to 4,017 centimeters, and the left-right obliquity is within 0.53 degrees, setting three world records. The system provides “Tianjin Port Solution” for full-process intelligent management of global bulk cargo terminals and fills the void in China’s bulk cargo loading intelligent control.

The application of the intelligent loading system enables the average berthing time of vessels to be cut by 8 percent, thus enhancing the quality of coal transfer services and the enterprise’s core competitiveness, increasing the terminal’s annual throughout, and reducing operational costs. Benefiting from its multiple safety detection devices, the system enhances operational safety and enables Tianjin Port to contribute to China Energy’s goal of building a world-class energy enterprise with global competitiveness.
