Group Holds Inspection Mobilization and Deployment Meeting on Poverty Alleviation

On August 5, China Energy held an inspection mobilization and deployment meeting on poverty alleviation. Chairman Wang Xiangxi, also head of the steering group of the inspection work, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

Wang stressed that focus of inspection on the poverty alleviation work should be placed on eight key areas: the implementation of policies and requirements on the poverty alleviation work, the performance of the inspected Party committees in poverty relief, the performance of relevant departments under the group in poverty alleviation support, the performance of the Party discipline commissions of inspected organizations in poverty alleviation supervision, the rectification and correction of problems in poverty relief discovered by earlier inspections, the progress of poverty-relief personnel team building, the role of Party building work in promoting poverty eradication and grassroots organization development, and coordination by relevant member units in poverty alleviation.

Wang required the staff to stay upright and make innovations while promoting poverty alleviation inspection in a high-quality manner, so as to provide strong guarantee for winning the tough battle against poverty as scheduled.
