GEIC-CRRC Yan’an New Energy Industrial Park Inaugurated

During the meeting, Liu extended thanks to Yan’an for its long-term support for China Energy and gave a brief introduction to the development of his corporation. He noted that China Energy has fully leveraged its advantage in the entire industrial chain to achieve the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutralization and promote green and clean development while actively expanding its advantage in market. He added that China Energy is willing to strengthen alignment with the development plan of Yan’an and deepen cooperation with the city in energy restructuring and upgrading, new energy development, and other areas.

Xue briefed on the economic and social development of Yan’an as well as the upgrading of its energy sector. He said that transformation and development of Yan'an cannot be achieved without support and participation of enterprises, and expressed the hope that China Energy would increase its investment in Yan’an and realize new achievements in advanced equipment manufacturing, energy restructuring and upgrading, new energy development and utilization, and other areas, so as to make new contributions to the local economic and social development.

The wind turbine hub manufacturing base in the Yan’an new energy industrial park was designed and constructed by CRRC Zhuzhou Institute Co., Ltd. It covers a land area of about 3,000 square meters and plans to build a 3.0MW-5.0MW production line with an annual capacity of 500 turbine hubs. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), the industrial park will introduced such industries as PV inverters, wind turbines, intelligent hydrogen-powered rails, hydrogen refueling stations, and hydrogen-powered buses, building itself into a leading clean energy manufacturing base in China.
