NIE Advances Innovation-driven Development

By the end of this March, China Energy had completed or nearly completed industrialization of more than 30 technologies for which it owns independent intellectual property rights in fields such as hydrogen energy, energy storage, coal chemicals, clean utilization of coal, environmental protection, and coal-based materials.

The air pollution control team led by Dr. Wang Baodong has focused on developing flue gas denitrification technology for coal-fired power plants. The denitrificating catalyst regeneration technology they developed has been applied in nearly 100 generation units and won silver prize for patents in China, making contributions to the country’s clean utilization of coal and environmental protection.
