Eighty-eight China Energy Thermal Power Units Honored at 2019 National Energy Efficiency Benchmarking Assessment

Recently, China Electricity Council announced the 2019 energy efficiency benchmarking result of coal-fired units for the electricity industry. China Energy ranks first among Chinese power companies, with 88 of its units named “Outstanding Units.”

After rounds of evaluation among entries from across the countries, 16 of thermal power units of China Energy including Jiangsu Taizhou Company’s No. 4 and No.3 units, Guodian Beilun Company’s No.6 unit, and Anqing Power Plant’s No.3 unit were rated as 5A units; 29 units including Shouguang Power Plant’s No.2 unit, Liaocheng Power Plant’s No.4 unit, and Tongling Company’s No.2 unit were rated as 4A units; 36 units including Jiangsu Company Jianbi Power Plant’s No.14 unit, Hubei Hanchuan Company’s No.5 unit, Jiangsu Suqian Power Plant’s No.5 unit were rated as 3A units; Jiangsu Taizhou Company’s No. 4 unit, Dingzhou Power Plant’s No.1 unit, and Panshan Power Plant’s No.2 unit were rated as units with the best index in coal consumption for power supply; and Jiangsu Company Jianbi Power Plant’s No.14 unit, Bulian Power Plant’s No.2 unit, and Beilun Power Plant’s No.2 unit were rated as units with the best index in service power consumption rate.
