Xinshuo Railway Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Energy, officially launched a centralized traffic control (CTC) system on August 2.
Xinshuo Railway Co., Ltd. has officially launched a CTC system.
The railway CTC system aims to enhance the transport and production integrated management capacity and efficiency through centralized management of communications, signals, power supply units, traffic control, etc. It can realize computer-based interconnected control and regulation of all stations along the rail line. After two weeks of trial operation, all functions of the CTC system proved to perform well, meeting the requirements for official operation.
The launch of the system laid a solid foundation for the company to enhance traffic management quality and efficiency with fewer human personnel. The system is expected to help accelerate the company’s “high-quality and intelligent development” and provide technological support for the company’s efforts to build a first-class heavy-haul railway.
