China Three Gorges Corp (CTG) has deployed RMB 400 million to 48 poverty alleviation projects in four targeted counties on March 25, fulfilling its target for 2020.
The projects span a wide range of industries including agriculture, e-commerce, education, and tourism. Specifically, CTG invested RMB 97.4 million in healthcare, which including financing four Three Gorges healthcare poverty alleviation funds, as well as renovating and expanding two county-level hospitals. A total of RMB 146.83 million was invested in education, including the build-up of five new schools, renovating four education infrastructure projects and two teachers training projects. In addition, for industrial poverty alleviation, CTG has invested RMB 80 million covering six tourism projects, four agriculture projects and one e-commerce project.
