CTG holds online job fair for 2020

China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) launched a job fair online for 2020 on May 20, offering a total of 2,719 openings, more than one-tenth of its current workforce in China, hitting a record in the company’s history.

The new openings comprises of two parts with 1,748 allocated for fresh college graduates, an increase of nearly 1, 200, or more than 200 percent compared with last year, and 971 openings for professionals, an increase of 419 from last year, or up 76 percent.

In addition, the total number of migrant workers contracted by CTG reached over 80,000 by the end of April, a figure that has exceeded last year and is still on the rise.

The recruitment drive will give preference to children of frontline medical staff in fighting against COVID-19 with some of openings targeting college graduates from Hubei-based universities. At the same, CTG will give priority to graduates from underprivileged families in the Three Gorges Reservoir area and the Jinsha River Reservoir area.
