CTG’s 60-MW wind farm in Gansu commences power generation

China Three Gorges Renewables (Group) Co., the alternative energy arm of CTG, has commenced power generation at its 60-MW wind farm in Gansu Province.

Located in Baituo Town, Qingshui County of Tianshui City, the project is similar to other CTG Renewables projects in that it aims to achieve industry-driven poverty alleviation and combine corporate development with targeted poverty alleviation.

Once operational, the project is expected to generate 120 million kWh of electricity, saving 32,100 tons of standard coal. In addition, the project will reduce emissions of smoke and dust, nitrogen dioxide and carbon dioxide by 433.9 tons, 370.72 tons, 96,500 tons respectively annually, further optimizing the energy supply structure of Qingshui County.
