？On December 8, the installation of the turbine runner of the first power generating unit was completed in the Isimba hydropower project in Uganda, which was carried out by China International Water and Electric Corporation (CWE), a CTG subsidiary. It marks another milestone in the construction of the Isimba project and symbolizes that assem-bly of the first power generating unit has entered the final stage. The turbine runner is the heaviest component during the installation of electrical and mechanical equipment. The total lifting weight is 265 tons.
