CTG President Wang Lin meets Portugal’s energy and environment minister

Wang Lin, President of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), met Joao Pedro Matos Fernandes, Portugal’s Minister of Environment and Energy Transition and Joao Galamba, Portugal’s Secretary of State for Energy on September 6, holding extensive and in-depth exchange of views on issues of mutual interest.

Wang briefed the two officials about CTG’s investment in EDP over the last seven years and introduced the company’s current operation in Portugal. CTG’s long-term strategic investment in Portugal and EDP as well as its partnership with EDP will remain intact, vowed Wang.

CTG is EDP’s crucial global strategic partner and the two companies share a promising prospect of collaboration in the field of clean energy, said Fernandes and Galamba. They hope the partnership will continue to facilitate the economic and cultural exchange between the two countries.
