China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) set up a new energy subsidiary in Xiong’an New Area of Hebei Province on July 26, as part of its efforts to boost the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
CTG Xiong’an New Energy, with a registered capital of RMB100 million, obtained its business license issued by the Administrative Committee of Xiong’an New Area on the same day.
The new entity will be is mainly engaged in strategic emerging industries such as energy-saving technology services and development of environmental protection technology.
CTG Xiong’an New Energy will fully leverage the advantages and expertise of CTG in areas such as clean energy, energy conservation and environmental protection, technological innovation and capital operation, to develop into a new growth engine for innovation-driven development in the Xiong’an New Area.
