Qiaojia county donates vegetables to support the resumption of work at Baihetan

Qiaojia County of Yunnan Province, where Baihetan Hydropower Station is located, recently donated 40 tons of vegetables to the project operator to ensure the basic living needs of workers building the dam.

Baihetan Hydropower Station, owned and built by China Three Gorges Corp (CTG), continued construction amid the COVID-19 outbreak. But the living supplies are running short at the site as the project gradually resumes full operation when a large number of workers returned to the project. The vegetables donated will address the challenges.

Previously, the third GW-turbine for assembly was hoisted on the left bank of Baihetan hydropower station, marking a good start for the assembly of power units located on the left bank in 2020.
