China Three Gorges Renewables (Group) Co., the new energy arm of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), announced that it has completed the construction of the 14th single-pile foundation in its offshore wind power project in Rudong County, Jiangsu Province on June 5, one step closer for its goal of building a "million-kilowatt" offshore wind power base in the province.
The project team has managed to resume work in February while preventing the Covid-19 pandemic. Experts said that the project, the first ±400 kV flexible DC transmission offshore wind power project in China, will play a guiding role in the development and construction of future high-capacity offshore wind farms.
