CTG Focused on Developing Key Projects of Offshore Wind Power

In the morning of June 30, CTG and the Fujian Provincial Government jointly held the Key Project Promotion of Offshore Wind Power Industry in the CTG-Fujian Offshore Wind Power Industrial Park. At the meeting, four offshore wind power projects, including Fuqing Xinghua Bay Offshore Wind Farm (Phase II), Dongfang Electric Corporation, Fuqing Manufacturing Base of LM Wind Power and Intelligent Microgrid Photovoltaic Project started construction, marking an important move of Fujian's offshore wind power industry chain. 

In recent years, CTG has promoted the development of offshore wind power in Fujian effectively and orderly. At present, it has built the first Offshore Wind Power Industrial Park in China and the world's first high-power Offshore Wind Power Pilot Wind Farm, launched the preparation for world's first million-kilowatt offshore wind farm, established the “three centers” for R&D, testing and certification of offshore wind power in Fujian, and built an integrated platform for offshore wind power operation with comprehensive capabilities ranking first in the country. Fujian is becoming a pioneer in concentrated and contiguous development of offshore wind power in China, a focused place for advanced offshore wind power production capacity, and a demonstration area for the domestication of major offshore wind power equipment.
