On June 25, Da’an Three Gorges Guangqingda Changfu PV project was connected to the grid and started generating power. It takes less than 2 months to put the Project in full operation since its construction in May 2018.
Da’an Three Gorges Guangqingda Changfu PV project is located in Da'an city in the northwest of Jilin Province, with a capacity of 20 MW. It combines PV poverty alleviation and livestock farming by connecting ground-mounted PV to PV panels on the rooftop of livestock sheds – 17.8 MW for the ground and 2.2 MW for the rooftop. It is estimated that the completed project will generate electricity of 27630 MWh annually, saving 11,200 tons of coal.
On June 29, CTG's first Yangtze River Protection PPP Project – Shennongjia Nanhe River Basin Ecological Governance PPP Project kicked off its mobilization meeting in Shennongjia Forestry District, Yangri Township in Hubei Province. The project aims at protecting the environment and functioning of the ecological shield zone for the Three Gorges Reservoir, protecting the fresh water reservoir, providing safe drinking water for the community, and optimizing water allocation.
