Wang Lin Met with CGN Delegation

On the afternoon of March 15, Mr. Wang Lin, President of CTG met with the delegation led by Mr. He Yu, Chairman of the Board of China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN). Both parties conducted in-depth exchanges on intensifying cooperation on overseas programs and offshore wind power generation, etc.

Mr. Wang briefed the guests on the flood-control benefits of the Three Gorges Dam and CTG’s business performance in recent years. According to him, hydropower and nuclear power are two calling cards of China. As two global leaders in this regard, CTG and CGN have made major strides in recent years, devoting great efforts to global strategies while practicing the national “Belt and Road Initiative”. There are generous potentials for the two companies to join force in, among others, global expansion, wind power development and capital/finance projects. CTG and CGN shall maintain a sound relationship, display respective advantages, expand new areas of cooperation and grow into world-class clean energy players of global competitiveness through concerted efforts.

Mr. He introduced CGN’s business performance and market presence, especially its major achievements in implementing the national “Belt and Road Initiative”. He recognized the stunning success of CTG in, among others, hydropower development, overseas business and offshore wind power development, which made CTG a world-renowned clean energy group. He looked forward to further intensified cooperation between CTG and CGN on clean energy development, overseas expansion and capital/finance projects for the purpose of mutual benefits and wins.
