Lei Mingshan, chairman of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), led a delegation to inspect the group’s business in Brazil from November 15 to 16 local time.
Chairman Lei paid a visit to CTG’s Brazilian subsidiary on November 15 where he was briefed on its internal operations.The delegation then conducted a field investigation on Jupiá Hydropower Plant and Ilha Hydropower Plant, where he learned in details of unit modernization. He also visited control room and the No.1 generation unit in the workshop at Jupiá Hydropower Plant.
The delegation also paid a visit to Itaipu Hydropower Plant, where Lei held a fruitful exchange with its Brazilian director Joaquim Silva e Luna to deepen the partnership.
