CTG Signed the First Cooperation Framework with Yichang Government on Yangtze River Protection

On February 6, CTG signed an cooperation framework with Yichang government aiming to protect Yangtze River and build a demonstration zone for green development. This is the first agreement signed by CTG and local government on the protection of Yangtze River. 

According to the agreement, CTG will start a pilot sewage treatment program in Yichang and build a new model or mechanism for environmental protection. The long term goal is to improve the ecological environment in Yichang and the Yichang section of Yangtze River as well as to establish a demonstration zone for green development on Yangtze River Economic Belt.

At the project coordination and promotion meeting held by National Development and Reform Commission on January 16, Yichang, Jiujiang, Yueyang and Wuhu were confirmed as first pilot cities.
