East Sewage Treatment Plant in Wuwei County, Anhui Province, built and funded by China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), has recorded safe operation for 200 days as of December 18, with 4.28 million tons of sewage treated so far.
During the period, the plant has tested and analyzed more than 2,000 water samples of various types in a timely and accurate manner, discharging 1,271.66 tons of sludge(at a water content of 80 percent ). The main indicators of the effluent fully meet the Level-A national standard.
