Dongyuemiao Data Center construction project, built by China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), commissioned its first batch of racks on November 30.
Dongyuemiao Data Center is the first major new-infrastructure project delivered by CTG since the relocation of its headquarters to Hubei. Its operation is a sign that CTG's investments in Hubei's big data industry has entered a stage of substantive development.
"Once fully completed, Dongyuemiao Data Center will become the largest data center cluster in central China, providing safe and efficient data storage and powerful computing power for the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt," said Jin Heping, Chief Information Officer of CTG.
