Daya Bay NPP’s tops the safety performance challenge for capacity factors

On March 26 local time in Paris, France, the capacity factors of Daya Bay NPP operated by Daya Bay Nuclear Power Operation and Management Co. Ltd (DNMC) won the first prize in the 2014 annual safety performance challenge held by EDF for 7th consecutive year. The representatives led by Xu Wenbing, Vice general manager of CNOC on behalf of CGN went to Paris to accept the award and exchanged views with international peers.

In order to improve nuclear safety management and exchange advanced operation and management experience, EDF held the contest every year and over 60 units of same type from France, China and South Africa attend the competition. As of this year, Daya Bay and Ling Ao NPP topped first for 32 prizes times.
