First Run-up for Unit 2 of Fangchenggang NPP Completed

At 18:30 of July 6, 2016, the first turbine run-up for Unit 2 of Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant was succeeded and operated stably. During the whole process of run-up, all parameters of unit were kept at the normal and stable level.

After Unit 2 of Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant reached the first criticality on June 29 of the year, various tests have been done, subsidiaries and sectors of CGN worked together, well-coordinated to overcome difficulties, and successfully realized the first run-up by only one try, which marked a milestone success. In the following days, CGN will continue working hard and cooperating closely, steadily promote the grid-connection and various power platform tests, make sure Unit 2 of Fangchenggang Nuclear Power Plant to be put into commercial operation on schedule.
