Nearly 3000 Hong Kong youths will intimately access to Daya Bay nuclear power

    On November29, the Hong Kong youthful students visit activities start-off ceremony with the theme of "Access to Daya Bay and Qianhai District" was hosted at Daya Bay nuclear power base under China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN). 400 Hong Kong youthful students organized by the Kong Kong Elites and the Hong Kong United Youth Association attended the start-off ceremony as the initial delegation members. Relevant representatives from Guangdong Provincial Youth Federation, Shenzhen Municipal Youth Federation and CGN, etc. and over 10 journalists from Mainland China and Hongkong also presented the above activities.

    Following the start-off ceremony, 400 Hong Kong youthful students visited the exhibition hall of Daya Bay nuclear power base, skills training center, viewing platform, etc., closely approaching to the nuclear power plant.

    To help Hong Kong youthful students learn the rapid development of China's economic, social and industries as well as having a better understanding of nuclear power and nuclear power safety knowledge and the outstanding contributions made by Daya Bay nuclear power base concerning energy, safety and environmental aspects to Guangdong Province and Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Elites and the Hong Kong United Youth Association will organize nearly 3000 Hong Kong youthful students in succession to visit the Daya Bay nuclear power base and the Qianhai District prior to January 2015
