On April 19, the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) informed the editorial department of Clean Energy, a journal published by the National Institute of Clean-and-Low-Carbon Energy (NICE) under China Energy, that Clean Energy has been included in CSCD as a source journal for 2021-2022 after data selection and expert review. This is a major progress for the journal after it was included in DOAJ, Scopus and Ei Compendex databases, marking a great expansion of its influence and recognition in China’s science and technology circles.
CSCD is China’s first citation database that includes more than 1,200 core journals published in Chinese and English in the country, covering fields such as natural sciences, engineering technology, and medicine. It plays an important information-navigation role in identifying major research results and tracking scientific research in China.
