Employees in Liangan Hydroelectric Power Plant fights against the floods in Philippine

The weather in the Philippines is always unpredictable during the rainy season. This year, the Liangan Hydroelectric Power Plant, constructed by EnergyChina, was hit by a massive flood, unseen in a century. 

The flood water overflowed through the weir crest and poured backward, causing the upstream water level of the Liangan River to once rise to 3 meters. 

In the face of this emergency, the Chinese and Philippine employees swung into immediate action. They insisted on constructing the project while fighting against the floods. On April 20, the first concrete tank of the No.3 dam section of the project was successfully poured. Despite all the difficulties, EnergyChina’s employees worked concertedly to successfully complete all tasks.
