China Energy Passes DCMM Level-4 Certification

On May 5, China Energy obtained a certificate for the Data Management Capability Maturity Assessment Model (DCMM) in quantitative management (level-4) from the China Federation of Electronics and Information Industry, under the entrustment of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, becoming the first enterprise in China’s power and coal industries to pass the certification. This marked a breakthrough made by the company in certification of data management systems, indicating that its data management capability has reached the national advanced level.

Under the leadership of the Information Management Department of China Energy, the data resource service teams of the corporation created the CHN-EDGF171 data governance capability system with a high degree of maturity in line with 445 standards concerning 28 items in the eight fields of data strategy, data governance, data framework, data standards, data quality, data security, data application, and data lifecycle. The system enables China Energy to form a data governance capability roadmap adapting to the requirements of its business management. Upon investigation and examination by relevant assessment institutions and the review by experts from the China Federation of Electronics and Information Industry, China Energy passed the DCMM Level-4 Certification.
