China Energy Wins Prize for Outstanding CSR Report Release

On August 18, the China Energy Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report 2021 was published at the 2022 CSR reports release ceremony for enterprises in the coal industry organized by the China National Coal Association. This is the fifth CSR report released by China Energy since its reorganization in 2017, which was rated as the top 5A grade by the CSR Reports Rating Experts Committee. China Energy was granted the Prize for Outstanding CSR Report Release, and relevant individuals received the Prize of Devotion for CSR Report Release.

The representative of China Energy delivered a speech titled “Based on Coal: Overcoming Three Major Challenges and Realizing Four Key Goals” to review the corporation’s efforts to fulfill its political, economic and social responsibilities to the country, communities and the environment last year, with the focus on overcoming three major challenges, namely how to coordinate safety and development, enterprise development and miners’ vocational health, and ESG and green development, as well as exploring the way to realize four key goals, namely professional industry studies, refined management and governance, specialized development, and reform and innovation. In the speech, the representative also expounded on China Energy’s responsibilities and actions in guaranteeing energy supply and contributing to the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
