Longyuan Power’s First Independently Developed Controllable Production Monitoring System Went Online

On October 11, the first production safety monitoring system developed by China Longyuan Power Group Limited (“Longyuan Power” for short), a subsidiary of CHN Energy, went online, making Longyuan Power the only new energy operator equipped with a production safety monitoring system for which it owns independent intellectual property right in China. The system connects to data related to the corporation’s various types of new energy equipment with a total installed capacity of 30GW, creating a new “calling card” for the corporation’s new energy digitalization brand.

The system aims to meet the requirements of the national information technology innovation program. It completely adopts domestic chip-based servers, operating systems and the CentOS open-source operating system and covers applications of the full industrial chain ranging from terminal yards, provincial/regional branches and the headquarters. The system helps overcome many bottlenecks in key technologies and break through technological blockage by foreign rivals. Using an opened structure and module design, the system boasts optimal performance, efficient data extraction, and flexible application scenarios, and can achieve centralized, distributed, diversified and integrated monitoring of the production and storage of new energy like wind and solar power. It has filled in several application voids, acquired three software copyrights, applied for five invention patents, and compiled national standard. With the help of the system, CHN Energy has truly realized comprehensive and automated controllability of the data collecting system, regional centralized control system, and headquarters-side monitoring system. The system can better protect data security and satisfy individual and customized needs, setting a benchmark and charting the course for the digital transformation of the new energy industry.
