Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd.’s First Self-built 80MW Wind Power Project in Shanxi Connected to the Grid

On October 4, the Zhaojiagou 80MW wind power project in Tianzhen County, Shanxi Province, the first self-built project of the Hebei branch of Guohua Energy Investment Co., Ltd. (“Guohua Investment” for short) under CHN Energy, began operation and was connected to the grid.

With an installed capacity of 80MW, the project has sixteen 3.6MW wind turbines and five 4.5MW wind turbines. It is estimated that the project will generate 188 million kWh of electricity each year, and its annual usable hours reach 2,346. Moreover, it will save 57,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 37.59 tons per year, thus playing a positive role in driving the region’s green transition in energy structure and economic development.
