Shendong’s Rock Burst Prevention and Control Report Won National Best Solution Award

On December 18, the report of “rock burst intelligent precaution technology based on multisource data fusion and deep learning” released by the key laboratory for mining rock burst research of Shendong Coal Group under CHN Energy won the Best Solution Award with the highest score at the category of solutions to practical problems concerning rock burst prevention and control during the Third National Conference on Prevention and Control of Rock Burst in Coal Mines.

The solution is based on multisource data fusion and deep learning and combines the advantages of both physics-driven and data-driven technologies. It gives full consideration to the main factors causing rock burst disasters as well as important signs prior to the occurrence of such disasters, and builds a multisource, multiparameter dynamic rating system for rock burst to assess near-field risks and dangers that disturb the stability of mining zones. The company also developed an integrated 3D visualized platform for intelligent rock burst precaution, achieving real-time collection and synchronous transmission of on-site monitoring data, intelligent precaution and dynamic display. The platform can directly display the threat level of rock burst, dangerous zones, and potential occurrence time, so as to enhance the effectiveness and accuracy of disaster precaution.
