Wuhai Energy’s First Intelligent Rapid Excavation Equipment Successfully Put into Operation

On January 9, the first set of rapid excavation equipment developed by Wuhai Energy under CHN Energy was successfully put into operation at its subsidiary, the Limin Company, marking the company’s intelligent excavation system has reached a new level and providing strong scientific and technological support for the enterprise’s healthy, sustainable development.

Targeting at problems such as intricate technologies needed in bolt supporting and untimely monitoring on tunnel distortion, Limin Company has made all-out efforts to advance reforms of production technologies, modes and organization and carry out key R&D projects. It achieved equipment coordinated control through the remote intelligent control system and created a new model of efficient, intelligent human-machine coordinated excavation. The set of rapid excavation equipment consists of sub-systems such as a navigation and positioning system, a signal transmission system, an audio-visual system, a wireless remote-control system, a remote operation system, and an automatic cutting system. Through operational command from the ground or underground control center, it has achieved intelligent remote control and one-button start/stop of excavators. In addition, real-time images of the excavation work faces, the operational conditions of excavators and other equipment can be displayed in the control center, realizing visualized monitoring and intelligent remote control.
